What are the key points of motor maintenance?
The main points of motor maintenance are as follows:
1. Keep the use environment dry and ventilated, the surface is clean, well ventilated, and not hindered by dust and fibers.
2. Check that the power supply, inverter, and motor are not abnormal before using it, and start the ventilator before starting.
3. Ensure that the motor is well lubricated in operation. After about 4000 hours of operation, the grease is replenished or replaced, and the bearing is found to be overheated or the grease has deteriorated and replaced in time. Remove the old grease, clean the bearing and bearing cover oil groove with gasoline, and fill 2/3 of the cavity between the inner and outer rings of the bearing with grease for small and medium-sized motors.
4. When the bearing life is at the end of its life, the vibration and noise of the motor increase significantly, the bearing should be replaced.
5. When disassembling the motor, choose to take out the rotor from the shaft extension or non-shaft extension end according to the situation, it is more convenient to take it out from the shaft extension end, but to prevent damage to the stator winding or insulation.
6. When replacing the winding, write down the original winding form, size, number of turns, wire gauge, etc., and do not change the original design winding at will.
7. When overhauling the motor, cut off the power supply.
8. Keep the motor clean, free of dust, water stains and debris within 3 meters around the air inlet, and ensure sufficient insulation resistance and good ventilation and cooling environment.
9. Check and ensure the normal operation of the starting device, and always check whether the contactor contacts, coil core, and wiring screws are reliable, and whether the mechanical parts are flexible.
10. The motor should be properly and firmly grounded, and the grounding mark should be eye-catching and not easy to wear.
11. When the deviation between the power supply and the rated frequency exceeds 1% or the voltage deviates from the rated voltage by more than 5%, the output power of the motor shall be appropriately reduced, and the motor for continuous operation shall not be allowed to overload.
12. The motor has a good smooth finish, ensuring the correct pressure and installation position of the carbon brush, and the spark grade of the slip ring does not exceed the specified value when the motor is running.
13. There should be no abnormal noise in the motor during operation, and the vibration should meet the requirements of the standard.
14. The windings and bearings of some motors are equipped with temperature measuring elements, and the corresponding alarm temperature is set according to different grades.
15. Properly mark those equipped with moisture-proof heaters.
16. Do a good job of motor operation log, and record instrument readings regularly.
17. After the motor protection device is activated, the fault is cleared before it is put into operation.
18. Ensure that the motor has good lubrication during operation. The rolling bearings run for about 2,000 hours with grease, and the plain bearings are oil-specific and maintain the right amount of oil.
19. Ordinary motors are not allowed to start frequently and reverse braking.
20. Long-term overcurrent or overvoltage operation of the motor is not allowed.
21. When disassembling and assembling the motor, the insulation of the motor winding and the mating surface should not be damaged.
22. Check the work of the motor, the size and change of the current, whether there is water leakage, whether the surrounding objects affect the ventilation and heat dissipation, and whether the fan end cover is too dirty.
23. Listen carefully to whether the motor running sound is abnormal, add bearing oil or replace new bearings in time.
24. Use the back of your hand to feel the temperature around the motor, and check the bearing, load, equipment, ventilation, etc. in combination with the sound of the bearing, the working current, etc.
25. Measure whether the three-phase working voltage and current are balanced, check the components and wiring of the control system, keep the inside and outside of the control box clean and dry, regularly check the wiring and screw fastening in the box, check whether the components are damaged or ablated and burned, and pay attention to the working voltage of the electromagnetic coil.
